Lazada Malaysia (Lazada) continues to reinforce its position as Malaysia’s leading online shopping mall by introducing High-Speed Delivery to its customers in the Klang Valley, further underlining its competitiveness and attractiveness as a leading online player. Faster delivery remains a top priority with this new service as orders placed before 1pm from Monday to Saturday will now be delivered in less than 6 hours, for a flat fee of only RM15.
This latest innovation underlines Lazada’s continuous commitment for a seamless online-offline shopping experience that continues to close the gap between both modes of shopping. In a recent Lazada 2015 Brand Track Survey, it was found that 45% of survey respondents would most likely opt for a faster delivery option, highlighting a need for accessibility and convenience.
With their customers’ needs in mind, and to facilitate the operations of the High-Speed Delivery, Lazada continues to invest in technological innovations by putting in place certain steps to ease the overall online shopping experience. This includes the upgrading of their in-house technology and order management systems for their new Fulfilment Centre in Subang Jaya. It is now the largest facility for any e-commerce player in South East Asia and is also 16 times bigger than their first warehouse.
Lazada’s priority in providing the best to its customers with the High-Speed Delivery feature is certainly a game changer, as the leading e-commerce player is exploring other products, including the deliveries of fast-moving consumables such as groceries. While the service is presently available for a selected variety of products for delivery within the Klang Valley, Lazada is looking at expanding this nationwide in the near future to further enhance their customer’s shopping experience.
