“Home & Living” and “Kids, babies & mothers” categories will top the shopping list this 12 December (12.12), ShopBack predicts

12 December, dubbed 12.12, marks the last major retail holiday of the year before Christmas and New Year. While there are many preceding retail holidays, such as Singles’ Day on 11 November which leads the pack with a record-breaking USD17.8B sales, Malaysians still have very high regards for 12.12.

This was evident when ShopBack Malaysia first participated in 12.12 last year. The data below reflected some 280,000 Malaysians’ actual shopping behavior on 12 December 2015. It was apparent that 12.12 remains a day to be reckoned with, clocking four to five times increased web traffic and 60% first web visits to ShopBack.
