TPC Kuala Lumpur Embracing the Spirit of Ramadan Through Charity

In light of the Ramadan Spirit, Malaysia’s premier golf and country club TPC Kuala Lumpur is collaborating with Kechara Soup Kitchen (KSK), a non-profit organisation in the Ramadan #zerowastage project. This charity project aims to reach out to the homeless people of Kuala Lumpur by providing free packed meals as a small contribution to ease their hitches. It is also an effective measure for TPC Kuala Lumpur in helping to curb the growing problem of food wastage in the country.

Every night after the Dapur Muhibbah Buffet Dinner comes to an end, the F&B staff of TPC Kuala Lumpur will segregate the high quality excess food from the event and pack them neatly. KSK will then pick up the packed meals at around 11 pm to be distributed by a group of volunteers to the homeless and urban families in the Klang Valley. This initiative may be the first for TPC Kuala Lumpur but certainly not the last as there will be plans to continue the project even after Ramadan.

It may be a small contribution by TPC Kuala Lumpur, but together if everyone from all levels of the community take this as part of their responsibility in giving back to the society, the world can definitely be a better place for all.

Dapur Muhibbah is the Ramadan promotion theme for this year, located at the club’s pool side. The promotion is available now until 22 June 2017 at only RM 116.60 nett (Visitor) / RM 93.30 nett (Member).  Diners are presented with a wide range of ‘Muhibbah’ delicacies with over 41 food stalls and eight extensive buffet displays specially prepared by over 40 skilled chefs.

In addition to that, TPC Kuala Lumpur has FREE and ample parking space with buggy service available to shuttle guests to and from the club. For reservations, please call 03 2011 9187 / 189 now.
